Who provides my consultation?
At Aluma, our medical providers perform all consultations, ensuring optimal treatment plans and results. For those interested in an in-depth evaluation of facial features and the treatments that can help, we offer a thirty-minute consultation with Dr. Brigham, in which the $150 fee can be applied towards a future treatment. We also offer complimentary Botox consultations with Aesthetic Nurse Mikayla.
Who provides injections?
Dermal fillers, Sculptra, Kybella, and Instalift Threads are administered by Dr. Nathaniel Brigham, MD, while neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport are done by Mikayla Murphy, RN as well as Dr. Brigham.
Who provides chemical peels and facials?
These skin surface treatments are provided by our Clinical Esthetician, Tatum Waters, who trained at Beau Monde Academy and has been a practicing esthetician for more than six years.
What aesthetic services can be combined?
When appropriate, combination treatments can enhance your results. When combining treatments, we will develop a planned approach for optimal results. Here are a few that have proven effective:
- PRF Microneedling + Chemical Peels
- Instalift Threads + Dermal Fillers
- Dermal Fillers + Botox
- Sculptra + Dermal Fillers
How should I prepare before and after my treatment?
Each treatment is different and may require different preparations. You can find this information on each treatment page, along with aftercare practices. We will be in touch with specific instructions once your appointment is booked.
General Information
What skincare products do you carry?
All products are available in-store or via our online Skin Shop. We carry SkinMedica, Hydrinity, Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil, Latisse, Kari Gran Lip Whips, and Make and Mary Calming Inhalers.
Do you have parking available?
We have an onsite parking and a map available on our contact page.
What is your gratuity policy?
Since we are a physician’s medical office, you should not tip on injectable treatments, PRF microneedling, or Instalift threads. The best way to offer gratitude for an excellent service is a Google review, which is much appreciated. Our Clinical Esthetician appreciates gratuity for facials and peels when you feel your service has been exemplary. But it is not necessary.
What are your sustainability practices, and how do you support local commerce?
We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously. To take actionable steps, we always buy in bulk to reduce shipping and material waste. We buy local wherever possible and recycle with Ridwell all “unrecyclables” associated with treatments. We also prioritize purchasing American-made products.
In addition, Aluma contributes to the Portland economy by sourcing all of our in-office art from local artists like Alex Becker Black and artists from the Alberta Street Gallery. Our bouquets and green arrangements are sourced from a locally-owned floral company, Glasshaus Gardens.
